Organisers of the Spitz & Glitz fundraising auction for the Little League say that plans for the event are at advanced stage.

Coordinator Sara Mackay noted that Little League had already sold 26 tables for the auction that will be held at the Arts and Recreation Centre at Camana Bay at 6 pm, Saturday, 7 November.

Dubbed Spitz & Glitz; the annual fundraiser for the Little League will auction sports memorabilia, travel items and other prizes.

“The Little League Auction features a variety of items in a wide range of prices, starting at about $25. Shoppers will be able to find some great deals in the silent auction while participating in the excitement of the live auction, all while supporting a great local cause for Cayman’s children.”

“We still need the support of the entire community, as this is our biggest fundraiser and it will have been 20 months since the last one,” explained Sara Mackay. “We hope to complement our loyal traditional auction attendees and corporate support with more of our parent base and those now playing in the co-ed leagues, some of whom played when the Field of Dreams was just a hope. We need everyone’s support and like to think we’ve earned it”.

“We ask your continued support and invite you to another fun-filled evening of competitive shopping, dinner & drink , hilarious people – watching, in support of Little League and our ‘Field of Dreams’.
